SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY

The warranty applies to all ROBUST products concerned and varies according to the type of product. The warranty periods are specified in below. The warranty period takes effect from the date of purchase by the first customer. This warranty only covers material defects and does not include damage resulting from vandalism. ROBUST’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products, at ROBUST’s discretion and at no additional cost.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty excludes damage resulting from accidents, improper maintenance, negligence, normal wear, surface corrosion on metal parts, discoloured surfaces and other aesthetic defects, as well as failures caused by misuse or vandalism.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Transport and logistics are handled by a carrier designated by ROBUST. It is important to note that products or items should not be stored outside pending installation, but rather kept away from moisture at all times even if they are intended for outdoor installation.

AQUATIC INSTALLATION

The ROBUST warranty does not cover in the conventional conditions mentioned above the defects caused by corrosion for products installed in direct contact with chlorinated water or salt water, such as in water parks, as well as for products installed less than 200 meters from the seaside. Thus for products installed in a place that meets the aforementioned characteristics the warranty period will be reduced to 20 years for hot-dip galvanized structural parts (poles) and 10 years for hot-dip galvanized non-structural parts (bars). For the other elements, the guarantees remain unchanged compared to a non-aquatic installation.
